When we first moved to Louisville it was a difficult transition. We left our friends and family behind and were starting from scratch. We immediately adored our new home and loved exploring it. But the excitement was bittersweet because there was often a tinge of loneliness.
There was a beautiful church in our neighborhood that we tried out, but we were the only people who couldn't remember when TVs were only in black & white. Our very sweet friends invited us to their church, Sojourn, and it immediately felt healing. Finding Sojourn was a turning point in making Louisville our home and filling the void. A sojourn is a journey. Finding our church home reminded us that God has a plan for us and brought us to Louisville to fulfill his purpose.
Our church is part of us, so we wanted to share it with you.
